Offset Bench: Pipe Offsets

Offset Bench works out pipe offsets for pipefitters, plumbers and apprentices. Key in the set and the angle, choose the fitting size, and read off the travel, the run and the length of pipe to cut between the two fittings.

WHAT YOU GET AT THE START
- Simple offsets at 11 1/4, 22 1/2, 30, 45 and 60 degrees, or any angle up to 90 degrees that you type
- Cut length: the travel less the take-off at each fitting and the weld gap at each joint, 1/16 inch unless you change it

HOW IT SHOWS ITS WORK
- Under every answer the app prints the sum it did, so you can follow each step and confirm it on a calculator
- Travel uses the exact factor for each angle, such as 1.4142 at 45 degrees
- When two fittings would overlap, you are told, with the smallest set that clears them, rather than a negative cut
- A pipe drawn between the fittings labels the set, the run, the travel and the cut
- Big keys, with 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 for inches, built for gloved hands

NO SIGNAL NEEDED
Offsets, jobs and backups run offline with no account, and your jobs stay on your phone unless you back them up or export them. The app goes online only to show the Pro price, to buy Pro and to restore it, through Google Play and RevenueCat.
