Quasar Beam

Quasar Beam puts you on duty at a deep field relay station. Each shift brings 8 quasar orders, and every order must pass six stations in sequence: SCAN SKY, LOCK SOURCE, ALIGN DISH, DENOISE, DECODE and RELAY.

At every station a calibration needle sweeps across the track. Tap ENGAGE at the exact moment the needle crosses the silver target window. Hit the bright core for PERFECT bonus credits. Misses drain signal integrity, and when integrity hits zero the order is lost. Later orders sweep faster with narrower windows.

Clear at least 5 of 8 orders to bank your shift earnings, then spend credits in the Supply Depot on six permanent station upgrades: wider target windows, slower needle drift, longer station timers, a forgiven first mistake, boosted payouts and doubled perfect bonuses.
