Caring Compassion for Hispanic

Caring Compassion was developed to provide practices for caregivers of someone with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia on how to cope with caregiving with self-help, guided exercises, and helpful information about simple ways to decrease stress and improve quality of life.

The content is delivered in Spanish Language, specially developed for Hispanic/Latino caregivers.

The Caring Compassion program was derived from research studies conducted by Photozig, Inc. and Stanford University, such as iCare and Webnovela, with the incorporation of self-compassion mindful practices.

We hope that our curriculum will teach skills and help families struggling with dementia caregiving, as it has helped many caregivers in our past research studies.

The Caring Project is conducting a research study to develop new coping resources for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia.

This is a self-paced program (no face-to-face meetings, appointments, etc), and participants can live anywhere in the US. If this program is not helpful to you, please forward this information to someone who can benefit from this free service.

The goals of our project are: (1) to evaluate materials related to dementia and how to cope with difficult situations; (2) to study dissemination of information about dementia caregiving; and (3) to develop new resources to enhance the quality of life.
