Your blocking rules and recent block history stay on your device. ScrollBrake does not save or upload messages, passwords, captions, comments, usernames, or full screen text.

WHY ACCESSIBILITY IS NEEDED

ScrollBrake uses Android Accessibility only to detect the supported app or generic short-form section you chose to block and to perform the deterministic blocking action you configured. Interface text is inspected briefly in memory on your device and is not stored or uploaded. You enable this permission yourself in Android Settings and can disable it at any time.

ScrollBrake also uses Usage Access to identify the foreground app and may use overlay access to show the blocking experience. The app explains each permission before directing you to Android Settings.

Start with guest mode-no account required-or use Google Sign-In. You can delete your account and associated data from Settings at any time.
