SurveyStar — Field Survey Management for Road Engineers

Built for highway engineers, field surveyors, and inspection teams,
SurveyStar replaces paper-based road surveys with a fully digital,
GPS-driven workflow — works entirely offline in the field.

📍 Live GPS Chainage Tracking
Automatically calculates running chainage in real time from GPS movement.
Supports pause / resume, manual ±1m / ±10m adjustments, and displays live
accuracy (green ≤5 m, amber ≤10 m, red >10 m) with speed in KM/H.

📷 Geotagged Survey Camera
Capture photos with a professional HUD overlay permanently burned into
the image — timestamp, GPS coordinates, project name, chainage, and
surveyor name. Quick tags (pothole, crack, drain, bridge, culvert,
hazard, etc.) for rapid field classification.

🎥 GPS Survey Video with SRT Subtitles
Record unlimited-length video with a live overlay showing real-time GPS
coordinates, chainage, speed, and timestamp. An SRT subtitle file is
automatically generated from real per-second GPS samples and saved
alongside the video for post-processing.

📋 Project Management
Create and manage survey projects with road name, client, date, start /
end chainage, and notes. Switch active projects instantly during field work.

🗺 Active Survey Screen
Real-time survey session with live chainage readout, speed, GPS lock
status, and categorized log points — road furniture, signage, culverts,
drains, utilities, trees, and custom markers.

🌐 Cloud / NAS Sync
Upload all survey data (photos, videos, GPS logs, project metadata) to
your organization's WebDAV / NAS server with Basic auth. Queue is
persisted — retries automatically when connectivity is restored.

📁 Flexible File Storage
Choose your own working directory for all exported files. Survey files
are organized per project and accessible from the device file manager.

🕓 History & Archives
Browse all past surveys per project, with photo, video, GPS log, and
chainage sub-views.
