Hous: Planner

Hous brings the running of a home into one app. Instead of a chore chart, a shopping list, a spreadsheet of bills and a calendar that nobody checks, everyone in your home shares the same one.

Add the people you live with, and everyone can add tasks, tick things off, add to the shopping list and see what is coming up.

TASKS AND CHORES
• Create a task once and set it to repeat daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly
• Give it to one person, a few people, or the whole house
• Break it into steps, add notes, and watch the streak build
• Home shows what needs doing today, what has been missed, and whose turn it is
• Tick a task off and everyone sees it

SHOPPING LIST
• One list the whole house adds to, sorted into aisles
• Type several things at once: "milk, eggs, bread" becomes three items
• Suggestions for the things your house buys regularly, when they are due again
• Tick things off in the shop and they fade out of the way

BUDGET AND BILLS
• Set a weekly, fortnightly or monthly budget for the home
• Add one-off and repeating bills, and see what is left
• See what is coming due this week, and what the household has spent
• Split a bill between the people who share it

ONE CALENDAR
• Tasks, bills and events together on a single calendar
• Add an event the way you would say it: "Dinner with James on Saturday at 7pm" fills in the date, the time and who it is for
• Reminders when you want them: on the day, the day before, or an hour before
• Switch between the whole month and a single week

FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE
• Invite housemates with a link or a QR code
• A feed of what everyone has been up to
• Looks right in light and dark, and follows your phone

Hous is for flatmates, couples, families and anyone sharing a home.
