2026-07-15	St*****	I've been using PetBacker for about a month or so, and I haven't gotten a single client. All I got are scammers, trying to exchange phone numbers to communicate via text or WhatsApp, and trying to pay you through Zelle/Paypal. They all say the same thing "It's my first time I don’t know how to do it." Twice, after refusing to communicate through other platforms, and refusing to accept payments outside of PetBacker, my account got restricted due to their useless AI bots monitoring the chats.

Therefore, when you try to text a pet parent and get the response later you lose your chance to get hired. plus, you can't ever exchange address or phone number to be able to meet or calling ,you get restricted. on top of it you are treated as a person who is trying to get customers off the app. ironically, this app disables you to have connections.

2026-06-02	Mi*****	I have had two people try to scam me on this app. they sent pictures of their contact info then tried to "book" a job with me via email or text. they said they would pay me upfront. I thought that odd since we haven't even met. I hadn't even done the job. I did some research and it turns out there's a zelle scam where someone sends $ from a fraudulent account then the bank rejects it and charges you. then they pocket the cash. I looked up one of the "pet owners" who were situated in Nigeria.
