269 Agents is an accounting app that links with PesaPata’s backend to enable agents to manage their accounts from one central area.
This app is strictly for agents and their personal use.



KEY FEATURES

✓ Account Management: Easily keep track of your agent accounts [Bronze, Silver, Titanium]. View and pay for loans blocking an account from trading, you will also be able to get your total agent overdue from this. Any surplus amounts in the account can be transferred to another account or offset a client’s loan (depends on your agreement with your client). You only need to create an account, pay the subscription fee, start trading, and enjoy your earnings.

✓ Respond to client loan requests: How you lend your money has been made easy through the app. Simply verify your client’s identity information, select the account you want to trade with and we will take care of the rest. The loan will be instantly disbursed.

✓ Commissions & Earnings: With the app, you can get a general view/feel of your earning for a given time period. You are able to know the total amount you have earned, how much you withdrew, and the resulting balance. The disbursal of funds into your M-Pesa account is instant.

✓ View a client's detailed loan information including loan schedules and repayments made.

What are the client’s loan terms?

- Depending on the agent, an interest rate of 10% - 30% could be charged.
- The maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 186%.
- The principal loan amount that can be issued varies from KES 500 - KES 20,000 based on the agreement between the agent and client.
- An application fee of KES 100.
- There are NO PENALTIES for late repayments.
- Depending on the amount agreed upon with an agent, a client can choose repayment terms of up to 365 days.
- For example, a 30-day loan with a principal of KES 20,000 attracts an interest of KES 6,500. The client pays a request fee of KES 100 before the loan is issued. The system will go-ahead to generate a weekly repayment schedule of KES 6,500 for the borrower. The total amount to be paid by the borrower at or before the end of their loan term will be KES 26,100.
