The Banana Hunter Project App is a research-driven, community-powered mobile platform designed to document, map, and understand banana plant biodiversity through public participation. Built with simplicity and elegance in mind, the app allows users to contribute banana plant data seamlessly while supporting scientific research, education, and conservation efforts.

What You Can Do?
1. Explore Featured Projects
Discover ongoing research initiatives and educational content presented through clean, card-based visuals. Stay informed about current projects and updates.

2. Contribute Plant Data
Help expand biodiversity knowledge by submitting structured plant observations through a guided, step-by-step process:
i. Upload clear photos of the plant overview, male bud, fruit, and pseudostem.
ii. Optionally identify the plant type, if you can't, expert will help!
iii. Automatically tag or manually select the plant’s location using an interactive map
iv. Add notes or observations

Your contributions support research, mapping, and long-term biodiversity monitoring.

3. Personalised Experience
Create an account and receive a personalised home screen.
Manage your profile, view your past contributions, and update your information anytime.

4. Location Mapping
With your permission, the app uses GPS to accurately map plant locations, enabling spatial analysis and ecological insights.

5. Stay Connected
Reach out to the project team through built-in contact options, including email and social media links.
Receive notifications about updates and important announcements.

The app follows Apple’s design philosophy:

iv. No selling of personal data. This is community-based work! We do not need your data. Just your contribution!
