Users like the radar, opening-page accuracy, and detailed Canadian local weather, plus change-alerts, but are overwhelmed by invasive ads that persist with paid options, cannot silence amber alerts, and face location-saving and occasional forecast accuracy issues, impacting overall usability.

Pros

Radar feature is good.
Accurate weather shown on the opening page.
In-depth local weather for Canada with useful widgets and symbols.
Can set alerts/notifications for big weather changes.

Cons

Intrusive and excessive ads, including full-screen ads that persist even with an ad-free subscription.
Amber alerts cannot be silenced, causing disruptions and prompting uninstalls.
Ad placement moves while scrolling, making it hard to view forecasts.
Difficulty saving or remembering saved locations.
Forecast accuracy can be inconsistent.

Had this forever as my default weather app. It is unusable now. The adds constantly open a web browser to Amazon when scrolling. As soon as I move down the screen Amazon pops up. I'm moving to something else. Don't waste your time.

The ads are frustrating. Life is expensive already why would I pay for a weather app? Go use weathercan instead.

Used to be a great app, but the ads are out of control, and constantly open other apps related to the ads shown without any input. Spammy garbage now 👎
