We will be ending enforcement information updates for the Offline Map Version on December 31, 2026.

The latest enforcement information will continue to be updated in the standard version. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our valued Offline Map Version users, and we hope you will consider migrating to the standard version.

Orbis Guide is an app that provides information on "fixed speed cameras," "mobile speed cameras," "N-systems," "speed traps," and "checkpoints" nationwide, provided by "Orbis Guide," one of the industry's leading nationwide speed camera information sites, while you are driving. The background function allows simultaneous use with navigation apps.
Depending on the app you are using, notifications and sounds may conflict.

■Special Features■ These are special features not found in typical speed camera warning apps.

・Supports mobile speed cameras!

(Latest data based on information provided and on-site surveys by staff)

・Records speed camera passage history, allowing you to later check the difference between the speed limit and your passing speed.

・Voice announcement of your driving speed at the time of passage.

・Provides advance notification of speed cameras in tunnels or near exits where GPS is unavailable, such as in urban areas or mountainous regions.

・Voice warning if you significantly exceed the speed limit before reaching a speed camera.

・Continuous warning sounds are interrupted at low speeds, such as in traffic jams.

・You can view actual speed camera installation photos during warnings.

・Furthermore, the detailed screen allows you to view actual in-car videos of your passage on YouTube.


■Basic Functions■
・Can be used simultaneously with navigation apps via background operation.

The app will pause if the speed is not above a certain level within a specified period.

You can switch between general roads and highways to select which roads are targeted for warnings.

* Warnings for oncoming lanes are not provided.

* The app switches to a color theme that is easy to see at night depending on the time of day.

* A continuous warning sound will be emitted when approaching a speed trap, and the app will pause as needed in case of traffic congestion.

* Push notifications will be sent for nationwide speed enforcement information.

OpenStreetMap is used for the map.

There are limitations on zooming in and out of the map.

Detailed maps with a finer scale are not available.

* If you wish to use Google Maps, please use the "Orbis Guide Standard Edition".

After downloading the app, you will need to download the map data.

Approximately 700MB of storage space is required on your device.

* A Wi-Fi environment is required to download the map data.

* Downloading may take several hours.

If you are downloading while your device is locked, please select "Always ON" for "Wi-Fi connection during sleep" in your device's Wi-Fi settings.

[The following features included in the standard and free versions are not available: 'Real-time information sharing', 'Passing by other users', 'Tweets', 'Detailed information on speed traps and checkpoints', and 'Premium course'.]

■Operating Environment■
- An internet connection is required to download maps.
- GPS is required to compare your current location with warning points.
- Permission to use notifications and location information is required.

■Enforcement Information■
- Not all speed trap and checkpoint points are covered.

If you encounter any new enforcement points or unregistered points on roads you have traveled, please submit them.

■Precautions■
- Drive safely and follow actual traffic rules.
- Do not operate the device or stare at the screen while driving.
- There is no information on drunk driving checkpoints. * Displaying maps and acquiring location information consumes a significant amount of battery power, so please use the app while it is powered.

It is not possible to track all mobile speed cameras and enforcement points.

* App specifications may be changed without prior notice.

* Supported versions may change with Android version updates.

* GPS is used even in the background, so it consumes a lot of battery power.

[Regarding Background Location Information Use]
This app acquires location information even in the background to provide real-time notifications of traffic enforcement information while driving. By displaying notifications constantly, it continues to operate as a foreground service.
