SideCam - Parking Cam & Memo

Your gallery is for memories. It isn't the place for the parking level or a Wi-Fi password.

A parking bay number, the cafe's Wi-Fi code, a receipt, one page of a contract. Photos that stop being useful in a few days sit right next to the ones you actually care about. And when you try to clean up, you have to decide what's safe to delete.

SideCam is a camera for exactly those photos. What you shoot stays inside SideCam, not your gallery, and you decide later whether any of it belongs there.


■ Shutters handle what happens after the shot

SideCam gives you several shutters. What happens after a capture depends on which shutter you used.

· Save a copy to the gallery, or don't
· Capture silently, with no shutter sound
· Open the photo immediately
· Bring up the memo keyboard right away
· Delete it on its own after a set time

Shoot with the Parking shutter and the photo opens with the memo field ready, then disappears ten days later.
The Wi-Fi shutter shows the photo and clears it after five days. The 24 Hours shutter holds a photo for a single day.
Document and Receipt capture quietly and keep everything inside the app.

Seven shutters are ready from the start: Default, Business, 24 Hours, Parking, Wi-Fi, Document, and Receipt. Rename them, pick from over 200 emojis, change every option, and drag them into the order you like. Build the shutter you use most and it's one tap from then on.


■ It reads the text in your photo for you

Every photo holds up to three notes, and one tap copies any of them later.

Shoot with the Parking or Wi-Fi shutter and SideCam reads the text in the image, filling in the bay number or the password for you. Recognition runs on your device, and the photo is never uploaded anywhere.


■ The app does the cleaning

Set a retention period per shutter and photos past their time disappear on their own, anywhere from 30 minutes to 30 days across nine steps.

Ten days for parking, a month for receipts, 30 minutes for a screen you only needed once. You can forget that cleanup was ever a task.


■ Fewer taps to get the shot

· Home screen widget — tap a shutter and the camera opens with that shutter already selected. Make the widget larger to show more shutters, along with your saved parking space and the time you parked.
· Quick Settings tile — pull down the shade and shoot.
· Lock screen shortcut — capture without unlocking. Only capturing works there, while the album and settings stay locked, so a phone handed to someone else won't open your photos or notes.


■ It catches the moment you leave the car

When your car's Bluetooth disconnects, SideCam lets you know. Turn on auto launch and the camera opens right away.

For the garages you use daily, save a parking space up front. Record which basement level you're on with one tap, and turn on parking reminders to hear how long you've been parked every 30 minutes.

Photos and notes live inside the app. Nothing is uploaded to a server and there's no account to create. Text recognition runs on the device. Saving to the gallery or sharing with someone happens only when you tap it.
