When you open your eyes in the morning, your hand naturally reaches for your phone first. As you scroll through notifications and scroll down your feed, your day has already begun. 'Prayer First' is an app designed to slightly change that order.

■ Choose your current state of mind, and a prayer tailored to it will appear

I feel anxious, I am exhausted, I want to quit, I am grateful, I am afraid, I am sad, I am angry, I am lonely, I find forgiveness difficult, I am standing before a decision, I have an exam coming up, I am worried about my family, I am concerned about my health, I feel regretful, I am happy, I am just indifferent… If you select one of 16 states of mind, a prayer written to match it will appear. When you are at a loss as to what to pray for, we will open the first sentence for you.

■ Bible verses are included

Related Bible verses are displayed below the prayer. The text is taken directly from the Korean Revised Version, and the chapter, verse, and translation are indicated.

■ You can choose a title

If you select a familiar title from Lord, God, or God, it will be reflected in all your prayers.

■ Put down your phone

This feature allows you to keep the screen covered for a set amount of time. You will be notified when the time is up, so you can turn your phone over and do other things.

■ Your entries accumulate

You can write a line at the end of your prayer and keep your prayer requests separately. You can view how many days you have continued and with what mindset you have visited frequently in 'Journey'.

■ Morning notification

If you set a desired time, we will notify you of the first hour of the day. Since the message is displayed directly on the lock screen, we send only neutral sentences without any religious overtones.

■ Records remain only on your phone

There is no registration, login, or server. The line you write and your prayer requests never leave this device, and we cannot view them either. We do not request any dangerous permissions and only ask for notification permission when you turn on notifications.

■ About advertisements

We include advertisements to provide the service for free. However, advertisements have not been placed on the screen for choosing your mind, the prayer screen, or the screen for putting down your phone.
