⚔️ The Oath in Two Letters
In the falling dark of Camelot, one wizard carries the realm’s last spark. You don’t command an army—you command letters. Tap the Rune Gate, draw random sigils: S · P · C · B—the four foundations. Drag two alike to fuse them stronger. And when the right pair lands—L + C—the greatest knight of the Round Table rides onto the field.
This is tower defense rebuilt as a duel of alphabets. Random draws, desperate fuses, one hero summon away from turning the tide. All while Merlin walks the path behind you, three hearts beating, every step contested.



🛡 Core: 1v1 Mirror Duel
Split-screen. You and your foe guard your own Merlin on parallel paths. Same enemy waves hit both sides. Whoever lets an enemy through to Merlin first—loses one heart ❤️. Three hearts, game over.
It’s not about clearing fastest. It’s about not breaking.
🗡️ S​ = Swordsman — frontline blocker, cheap, merges fast
🔱 P​ = Pikeman — anti-cavalry reach, holds choke points
🐴 C​ = Cavalry — high mobility, cleaves through clustered foes
🏹 B​ = Bowman — backline range, pecks flying units
Drag two S​ together → S+. Drag two S+​ → S++. Merge ladder is short, but the RNG is cruel—you’ll hoard P P P​ praying for a fourth while cavalry is what the wave actually needs.



⚡ Hero Summon: L + C = Lancelot
Basic letters hold the line. Hero letters win the game.
Scatter L​ and C​ across your board—useless alone, pulse faintly, wait. Draw the missing half, snap them together—Lancelot​ manifests with Seven Lances, charging the lane and back, piercing everything in line. Same logic for other Round Table names (G, Gw, Pc, Tr... each a two-letter vow).
The tension: you’re holding L​ with enemies on the stairs. Do you fuse it into a plain S+​ for survival, or hold three more draws hoping C​ comes? Most games are lost on that choice.



🏰 Three Resources, One Rhythm
💰 Gold​ — recruit sigils, merge, reposition
⛏️ Spade​ — unlock blank tiles along Merlin’s path; expand your grid before the swarm arrives
📯 Retreat Horn​ — one use per match.​ Freezes enemy advance for a breath. Use it on Wave 7 when you’re one tile short, or save it for the boss? Pick wrong, Merlin pays.
That’s the loop. Draw → place → merge → pray for the second letter → blow the horn when it breaks.



🎨 Style
No 3D pomp. The board is clean grid, every unit a bold letter that morphs into its weapon on attack—S​ unsheathes, P​ lengthens, C​ charges, B​ nocks. When Lancelot appears, the L and C dissolve into plate and lance. Minimal, readable, fast.

Most TD asks you to build tall. This one asks you to not blink.
