APP BLOCKING

Choose the apps you want to restrict. When a blocked app is opened, Phone Security redirects you to a protection screen and helps you stay on track.

FOCUS LOCK

Temporarily keep your device focused on one selected app. Switching to other apps is restricted until Focus Lock is ended with your PIN.

SCHEDULED BLOCKING

Create recurring schedules to restrict selected apps on specific days and times. Overnight schedules are also supported.

DAILY USAGE LIMITS

Set individual daily usage limits for apps. Once the limit is reached, access can be restricted for the rest of the day.

LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY

Phone Security works locally on your Android device. No account is required, and your app selections, schedules, limits and PIN settings remain on your device.

PIN PROTECTION

Sensitive actions and protection exit flows are secured with a local PIN.

PERMISSIONS AND ACCESSIBILITY

Phone Security uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect when a user-selected protected app is opened and to display the blocking experience. This permission is used only for the app blocking and Focus Lock features configured by the user.

The Accessibility Service is not used to read messages, collect passwords, make purchases, change settings without permission or interact with apps on the user's behalf.

Some protection features may also require Usage Access, permission to display over other apps and exclusion from battery optimisation. Each permission is explained during the setup process before the user enables it.
