Open the app, and you see one thing first: a Green, Yellow, or Red Condition Badge telling you whether today looks like a good day to paddle. Behind it: live wind, tide, weather, UV, water quality, and active NOAA marine advisories — all pulled from official public data sources.

• Sunrise, sunset, golden hour, and daylight remaining

• Community-submitted launch points with satellite views, directions, and amenities
• Community-reported hazards (dams, strainers, dangerous currents) — user-submitted, not independently verified
• US Coast Guard regulations and state-by-state rules, lookup by your current GPS

PADDLEREADY PRO ADDS:
• Trip Check-In — log a planned trip, designate a contact who has opted in, and we email a reminder if you don't tap "I'm back safely" by your expected return time. Best-effort delivery only — not a rescue service. Carry a PLB or VHF radio.
• Offline mode — last conditions and forecast cached for service-dead launch points
• 7-day extended forecast (free version shows 3 days)
• Ad-free experience — the ads that support the free version disappear completely

• Ads in the free version are non-personalized only — no behavioral profiling, no data sales (Pro removes ads entirely)
