PackSmart

PackSmart is a trip-packing app for anyone who has ever fought a suitcase zipper or an airline weight limit. Instead of a flat checklist, it solves the real problem: you have several bags, each with its own weight limit, and more things you'd like to bring than will actually fit.

Create your bags or suitcases with their own weight limits, then build a pool of items to pack, tagging each one by weight and priority - Essential, Important, or Nice-to-have. When you're ready, tap "Pack My Bags" and PackSmart runs a real optimization algorithm (not a rough guess) that fills every bag with the combination of items that packs the most priority within its weight limit. Items that don't make the cut are never hidden - they're shown clearly so you can decide what to leave behind, swap, or move to another bag.

Each bag has its own detail screen with a mechanical flip-digit weight display that ticks up as items are assigned, showing current weight against the limit at a glance. A dedicated Stats screen tracks your packing activity over time: total items packed, trips logged, a per-trip breakdown chart, a priority-tier distribution, and a packing-activity heatmap.

The app uses a bold, high-contrast "vintage luggage sticker meets airport departure board" visual design - crisp white screens, saturated priority-tier stickers, and a dark mechanical split-flap counter for weights.
