SocialMode

SocialMode helps you use social media more intentionally.

Instead of opening social apps automatically and falling into endless scrolling, SocialMode adds a calmer, more mindful layer before and during your session. The goal is simple: keep social media useful, social, and under control.

With SocialMode, you can:

• Open social media through a focused in-app experience
• Set daily usage limits
• Receive attention alerts while browsing
• Add friction before opening social media
• Track your progress and usage patterns
• Adjust settings to match your habits
• Report issues and send suggestions from inside the app

SocialMode is designed for people who still want to use social media, but do not want to lose time to automatic scrolling. It does not block your life, punish you, or force extreme restrictions. It simply helps you pause, notice your intention, and choose how much time you want to spend.

Privacy and control are important parts of SocialMode. Most app-related data is stored locally on your device. SocialMode does not sell your personal data. Issue reports, suggestions, or feedback may be sent to our backend only when you choose to submit them, so we can improve the app and fix problems.

SocialMode is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, or any social media platform.
