VICFires is an Android app that provides up-to-date bush fire information for Victoria, Australia. It pulls live feeds from Vic Emergency and Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) to show active fires, warnings and current wind data. Using your phone's GPS, VICFires sorts incidents by proximity so you can quickly see the nearest threats and alerts.

The app requires an internet connection and does not cache data. It is not affiliated with Vic Emergency or any government organisation; all data is sourced from those providers. If you enable watch zones, the app may temporarily store your location for alerts — this can be deleted and is not correlated with other user data.
