1) CALCULATE — FLAT PATTERN AND BEND DEDUCTION
Every result comes from standard sheet metal formulas: bend deduction, bend allowance, K factor and setback. Start from ready profiles (L, C, U, Z, Hat, Lipped C) or draw your own section; plate, angle and channel unfold from the same core.
2) CHECK — CALIBRATION FOR YOUR PRESS BRAKE
No two machines or dies give the same result. Enter the value you measured on a test bend once; BENDIQ learns your machine's real bend deduction for that material–thickness–die set. Not a generic table — your own shop data, kept on your device. An impossible bend warns you before the part reaches the cutter.

• DXF (R12) FLAT PATTERN: send the cutting file to your laser or plasma. It is built from the SAME unfold as the cut length on screen. Tapped holes are written at pilot diameter (M10 → Ø8.5).
• 1:1 A4 CUTTING TEMPLATE: no laser? Print the unfold at true scale, lay it on the sheet and mark. Every page carries a 100 mm check ruler.
• 15 READY PLATE TEMPLATES: four corners, corners + centre, single centre, diagonal, edge pair and slotted layouts. Save your own parts as templates too.
• A4 TECHNICAL REPORT / QUOTE PDF: share it with your company name and logo.
