What is Hitori?
Hitori (ひとり) is a classic Japanese number puzzle from the makers of Sudoku, Nikoli. The rules are simple, the deductions are deep:
• No number may repeat in any row or column among the unshaded cells.
• Shaded cells may not touch each other horizontally or vertically.
• All unshaded cells must form a single connected region.

Every puzzle in this app has exactly one solution and is solvable by logic alone — never by guessing.
