Ox

Long-term oxygen therapy (OLT) is an irreplaceable therapeutic tool for patients suffering from severe respiratory diseases; it consists in the administration of supplementary oxygen, for a number of hours in such quantities as to bring the arterial oxygen content to values ​​as close to normal as possible. Ox is an aid in calculating the presumed defect life, including dispersion, of the mobile cryogenic container used in long-term oxygen therapy. It is important that the prescribing physician carefully calculates the duration it must have based on the dosage requirement (oxygen flow at rest, during exercise and at night) prescribed in the therapeutic plan (liters per minute for the number of hours per day).
