Pros

Nice app from WS Underground.
Works OK with PWS (personal weather station).
Great that it works again after the August update.
Was working flawlessly in early 2021.
Reportedly has access to many Ecowitt device settings.

Weather Underground (WU) data not displaying / WU dashboard not working.
App stops working after updates / inconsistent stability / crashes.
Data not shown in the app despite data being available on the website or WU.
WS View Plus supersedes this app; developers suggest switching to the newer app.
BLE pairing/adding a device can crash or fail on BLE mode.

The app has mostly been superceded by the WSView Plus app, but this doesn't really tell you that. This app has access to most of the settings that are in the ecowitt device, but doesn't know about some, so you come back 10 months later and discover the device has reset its yearly rain totals in February 1 instead of January 1, and there's no way to change it from this app.
