User Reviews

The app is praised for being simple, lightweight, and quick for testing dead pixels, with no ads. However, multiple reviews report that it doesn’t render across the full screen on many devices and that some devices (Note 9, S20) don’t support fullscreen, limiting effectiveness. Reliability concerns about false positives are also noted by a few users.
Pros
  • Simple, easy to use and fast.
  • Small footprint (low size) and direct testing saves time.
  • No ads; clean, free testing experience.
  • Useful and straightforward for manual dead/bright pixel testing.
Cons
  • Not full-screen on many devices; screen coverage is incomplete (can show a bottom band or only fill 3/4).
  • Compatibility issues on certain models (e.g., Note 9, S20) preventing proper fullscreen/operation.
Recent reviews
Black band at bottom of screen. Not all working pixels are lit.

First, you don't need to download this app, just use the preview images. Save some time because the is just still color images. The image doesn't cover the entire screen. The brightness doesn't change and there are no patterns to help you see any defects.
