Outreach Smartphone Monitoring

This app is meant to be used in conjunction with the Outreach Smartphone Monitoring web application. It allows monitoring parties such as police departments to monitor subjects who are under house arrest or have other location restrictions, or have blood alcohol content restrictions.

OSM features:

* "Check In" feature generates pass code and facial recognition video of offender

* "Check In" randomly programmed by monitoring party or voluntarily by offender

* "BAC" Blood Alcohol Content measuring feature uses an FDA approved, fuel cell, Bluetooth breathalyzer. (Use of the feature requires purchase of the Outreach Breathalyzer)

* All check-in videos reviewed by OSM staff

* "Calendar" sends push notifications reminding offender of court, testing, prescriptions, events, etc

* Emphasis on decreasing "failure to appear" rates

* Active GPS location monitoring, exclusion and inclusion zones

This app is part of a system that allows monitor parties to monitor more offenders with existing staff at no cost.

["Screen Sharing Functionality"]

Outreach Smartphone Monitoring uses screen sharing solely for live customer support and troubleshooting. Users of the app are often required to complete court- or agency-ordered monitoring tasks, including check-ins, breathalyzer testing, GPS verification, and other compliance activities. If a user experiences a technical issue, screen sharing allows support staff to guide them through resolving app, permission, Bluetooth, camera, or device-related problems in real time.
The feature is not active by default, does not run in the background without user knowledge, and is only initiated during an active support interaction. The user must approve the Android screen-sharing request before any screen content is shared and may stop the session at any time. OSM does not use screen sharing for surveillance, advertising, data harvesting, or continuous monitoring. Its sole purpose is to help users restore app functionality and complete required monitoring tasks.

[Accessibility Service API]

OSM uses the AccessibilityService API during screen sharing to allow you to draw lines, highlight components, or place markers directly on your screen in real time.

Why we use it:
- To draw visual lines and custom overlay markers over other apps while you share your screen.
- To detect touch coordinates so you can pinpoint specific items on your display.

Data Privacy:
We value your privacy. The AccessibilityService API is used strictly for these live-drawing features.
We do not track, collect, store, or transmit any on-screen data, personal information, or user interactions off your device.
