Free, easy to use, and mostly accurate if you leave it on the display and don't use any other app or phone function. If you turn off the display, the GPS doesn't seem to run in the background. Instead, when you turn it back on, it measures and records a straight line from the last location to the present one. If you're on winding trail, this can greatly underestimate the distance traveled. If you don't turn off the display the app will eat 50% of your phone's battery in 3 hours of riding.

Amazing app! It would be great if the current speed was a moving average of the last 5 or 10 measurements or seconds to minimize huge jumps due to GPS imprecision. It fluctuates by several mph, making it sort of useless.
