| 2024-07-17 | DON'T INSTALL ''Duolingo may have started out as a language learning platform. But now, it’s simply a translation-flashcard hybrid that leans on the same broken practices it set out to avoid. Think about it, how often do you ever use the phrase, “He eats carrots as breakfast lunch and the evening meal.” Not often. But you’ll see it over and over again until you remember it. Because…Duolingo.'' If you replace each Duolingo with optilingo, it is the best way to describe it. Edit: it's on ur web | ||

| 2024-02-19 | IT'S SO GOOD! IT HAS CIRCASSIAN (kabardian dialect if im not mistaken) AS A LANGUAGE! (and 20 languages in total). I'm considering whether I should buy the premium subscription or not honestly (and I downloaded it like 5 minutes ago!) because it surprised me A LOT. I'm so happy I heard of this app before giving up completely 😭🤍 | ||

| 2022-12-06 | Really disappointing app despite overall good reviews... I used it for Chinese. Voices are AI generated and they stop abruptly. No explanation of characters of Grammer rules. But kudos for no intrusive ads in the free version (although there are only a few classes) | ||

| 2022-09-08 | I found this app from a holier than thou beat down post about Duolingo, which focussed heavily on Duolingo just being poorly translated and often not grammatically or colloquially correct. What's hilarious is that *the very first lesson* clearly is using AI voices with a translator, rather than what actual Spanish speakers would say, which means it is doing exactly what it accuses Duolingo of! I learned from native speakers for years and just wanted to brush up, but not from this app! | ||

| 2022-07-17 | App may be okay for learning languages, mistrust will halt further lessons to find out. Not impressed with lies/ misleading marketing on lifetime access several forums. OPTILINGO REP:- ZENANCHORJAMES "We're currently giving away FREE, full access to our Optilingo app for life!" Link for free lifetime access, only gained free lesson & immediately followed by various cost options, seeking upgrade. Happy to review rating if shown after full search where free access is. Bk to books 😓 DC | ||

| 2022-06-25 | Overall, though, the OptiLingo German course worked beautifully. The material was very relatable and the skills I learned just clicked nicely, and I found myself developing a solid understanding of the language. | ||

| 2022-06-24 | A useful program for learning Circassian from English, as well as learning other languages. maybe topics can be added to the lessons. The sound is very clear. Speed adjustment option is a feature i haven't seen before. Thks | ||

| 2022-06-07 | Very effective app if you commit to taking at least one lesson a day. Lessons are structured in a way that makes it easy for you to familiarize yourself with the language, by repeating phrases used frequently in everyday life. | ||

| 2022-02-04 | It's impossible to change your level after creating an account. There's was a question "how much you know" (which actually is a ridiculous question, why not ask for actual level, like A2, or better yet give me a test?) and options "not much", "some" and "a lot", I chose the first one and it ended up too boring for me. Also I didn't find where to fast-forward the audio. But then, I deleted it after five minutes | ||

| 2021-09-18 | Tries to teach you a language with a text to speech AI, so nothing sounds realistic at all. Super pointless when you have to buy a subscription when there's better techniques for learning languages that are free. | ||
