R S Jagriti Niketan Senior Secondary School is a PREMIER SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL OF J & K state. It is an English medium school running from pre-nursery to class 12 This school is recognised by the J&K government and is affiliated to the state board of school education

It was established in 1969 by the veteran educationist Late Sh PN Raina with a view to providing modern progressive education at affordable cost to the children of this district . It is the FIRST private high school and later became the FIRST private higher secondary school of KATHUA district .This school has made spectacular achievements in all spheres of school activities ,the students have shown brilliant board results in 10th and 12th classes year after year. The students of this school bagged FIRST POSITION in class 12th in science stream FIVE times Iin the recent past.
