Online Clipboard: Copy Paste

Copy something on one device, open it on the next.

Online Clipboard is a shared clipboard you reach from your phone, your tablet and any computer. Paste in a link, a password, an address, a photo or a document, then open the board on the other device and it is there a second later.

GETTING ACROSS
1. Open a board. It gets its own link and a seven character code.
2. Paste in text, or attach files.
3. On the other device, scan the QR code or type the code in.

The board code is seven characters long and leaves out the characters nobody can tell apart, so it survives being read out over the phone or written on a whiteboard.

FROM ANY APP
Online Clipboard sits in the share sheet. Send a link from the browser, a photo from the gallery or a document from Files straight into a board, and pick which board it lands in. Text and files shared together stay in one entry.

TEXT AND FILES
Text of any length, and photos, videos, PDFs and documents up to 100 MB per file. Files arrive the way they left, without being recompressed.

A CLIPBOARD THAT CROSSES OVER
Phone to computer, computer to phone, your laptop to somebody else's. Transfer between devices that do not otherwise talk to each other, and share a board with as many people as you like.

WHO SEES IT
A board is private. Only someone holding its link or its code can open it, and there is no public search and no directory. Whoever creates a board can remove members and delete entries. Everyone can delete what they posted themselves.

NOTHING PILES UP
Entries delete themselves after seven days, their files with them. A board left empty goes after thirty days. This is a way across, not storage and not a backup, so keep anything that matters somewhere else as well.

WITH OR WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Start straight away, nothing to sign up for. Sign in later with Google, Apple or an email address and your boards follow you to your other devices. The account can be deleted in the app at any time, and its boards and content go with it.

REPORTING
Every entry can be flagged. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours and removed where it breaks the rules.
