The Thousand Characters is a book written by Zhu Xing Temple under the command of Emperor Wu of the Yang Dynasty during the Northern and Southern Dynasties of China. It starts with 'The Current State of Heaven and Earth' and ends with 'Eonjaehoya'. Also, from the Tang dynasty, it spread radically and several editions were made, among which the representative one is Jinchocheonjamun written by Wang Jiyeong, the seventh-generation descendant of Wang Huiji.
However, there are theories that the letters were collected from the writings of Wang Hui-ji of Dongjin, the theory that the letters were collected from the writings of Jong-yo of Wei, and the theory that Jong-yo himself wrote the Cheonjamun.
According to one theory, Zhuheungsa had to make it overnight at the command of Emperor Wu of the Yang Dynasty, but he was struggling because he could not write the last four letters. Suddenly, a ghost appeared and informed him of the end of Eonjaehoya. It was nicknamed "Baeksumun".
