Too many ads. Literally an ad every action, also there's no way to click on the settings button without an ad popping up, so I can't even see if there's an option to pay for no ads. Which sucks because this game looked really promising.

User Reviews
Unit 404 is praised for its challenging, logical puzzles, polished visuals, smooth animations, and immersive audio. However, multiple users complain about excessive ads at nearly every interaction, making the game nearly unplayable. The lack of undo function and harsh penalties for mistakes frustrate players. Some versions have no ads and are highly recommended, but recent updates added intrusive ads without a clear option to remove them. Overall, the gameplay and design are well-liked but overshadowed by aggressive monetization and limited user-friendly features.
Pros
- Challenging and interesting puzzle design that engages the brain.
- Simple yet polished graphics and smooth animations with fitting sound effects and atmosphere.
- Unique gameplay mechanics that require logical problem solving without easy shortcuts.
- No intrusive ads or in-app purchases in some versions or at least praised when absent.
- Good level design that gradually increases difficulty and provides a satisfying experience.
Cons
- Excessive and intrusive advertisements occurring after every level, restart, or even button clicks, ruining playability.
- No option to pay for an ad-free experience, or it's inaccessible due to ads.
- Unforgiving gameplay where one mistake forces a complete level restart, leading to frustration.
- Lack of an undo function, making retries very tedious.
- Forced logins to services like Google Play Games after levels, which users find annoying.
Recent reviews
A 20+ second ad before it let me play the first level, another just two seconds in to the first level. I had this game recommended to me, but clearly it's been turned into an advert infested mess since that recommendation was made.
