OneHaven Protect

OneHaven Protect is the child device app in the OneHaven family safety platform. A parent or legal guardian installs it on their child’s phone or tablet and pairs it with their OneHaven caregiver account using a secure invite code.

The app helps parents support healthy, safe device use while keeping their child connected.

WHAT THIS APP DOES (ON YOUR CHILD’S DEVICE)

• Message Safety Monitoring — OneHaven Protect includes an optional keyboard your child can enable on their device.
When your child sends a message in any app using this keyboard, the message content is analysed for potential safety
concerns (such as grooming, bullying, scams, or self-harm). If a risk is detected, you receive an alert in the
OneHaven caregiver app. Raw message text is never stored by OneHaven.

• Live Location Sharing — shares your child’s real-time location with you (the parent/caregiver) so you know they are safe.

• Screen Time Visibility — your child can see their daily screen time; you can view usage from the OneHaven caregiver app.

• App Usage Tracking — shows which apps your child has been using and for how long.

• App Limits & Schedules — you set time limits and schedules for specific apps on your child’s device; limits are enforced on that device.

• Downtime — you can schedule periods when app access is restricted on your child’s device.

• Emergency SOS — your child can quickly send an alert to designated emergency contacts when they need help.

• Request Access — your child can ask you to temporarily unlock an app or extend screen time.

• Settings Protection — a parent-set passcode helps prevent your child from changing safety and monitoring settings on their device.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

OneHaven Protect uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to support parental control on your child’s device. During setup, a clear in-app disclosure is shown and permission must be granted before the service is enabled.

With consent, the Accessibility Service is used to:

• Detect which app is currently open on your child’s device
• Enforce screen time limits, downtime schedules, and app restrictions you set as the parent/caregiver
• Display blocking screens when your child opens a restricted app
• Share app-activity information (such as which apps are used) with you through the OneHaven caregiver app

This data is used only for child safety and parental control features agreed to during setup. OneHaven Protect does not use the Accessibility Service to read messages, record audio, capture passwords, or access content inside other apps.

Enabling Accessibility is optional during setup. It can be turned off at any time in Settings → Accessibility → OneHaven Protect.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• For parents/guardians only — this app is designed for a child under 18 and must be set up by a parent or legal guardian using the OneHaven caregiver app.
• An invite code from the parent’s OneHaven account is required to pair the child’s device.
• Location and app-activity data is shared only with linked parents/caregivers on the account — never sold or shared with third parties.
• This app is not intended to monitor adults, employees, partners, or anyone other than a child under parental supervision.
