Cringe the Cat - Music Game offers an engaging rhythm game experience starring Cringe, a quirky cat jumping to the beat across multiple tracks. Players must keep in rhythm while avoiding angering the Mouse, combining elements from popular games like OSU and Guitar Hero.
Featuring simple two-button controls, this game is easy to pick up even for beginners but challenging enough for seasoned rhythm gamers with multiple difficulty levels and adjustable note speeds. It includes tracks across genres—from electronic beats in Vanilla world to hard-hitting rock and metal rhythms in Metal Hell, including a Paranoid cover.
With no pay-to-win mechanics and a dynamic, immersive level design, Cringe the Cat guarantees hours of fun for fans of music and rhythm games seeking both casual and intense gameplay.
Players generally enjoy the cute presentation, approachable gameplay, and rhythm-game concept. Common requests and complaints include greater difficulty, more songs, and timing calibration. Ads before levels bother some users, while others consider them manageable. A few reviews also report control bugs and visuals that are hard to read.

Wow, after getting a dev response that ignored what I said about the animations, they added a way to disable them, as I suggested. They don't change back to the old ones though, the cat just doesn't move at all I guess? I'd realized my rating was harsher than I'd intended and planned to change it, but the dev's disrespectful response despite my trying to be polite has dissuaded me for now. Also, their “zero ads” claim isn't true, I get one before every level. I do want to like this game though.
