1B Files is a file manager and file explorer for Android by 1Byte Systems: all your storage at a glance, space cleanup, your servers and your PC, and an encrypted folder for private files. No ads, no analytics, no accounts.

EVERYTHING AT A GLANCE

• Apps: see installed apps and their size, uninstall them, extract the APK and install APK files
• Dual pane on tablets and unfolded foldables, with drag and drop between panes. Folding keeps your folder, selection and scroll position

REMOTE SERVERS AND YOUR PC
• SFTP (password or SSH key, fingerprint check), FTP/FTPS, SMB (Windows and NAS shares) and WebDAV (Nextcloud)
• Browse, copy, move, rename, create folders and delete on the server, and copy between the server and your phone
• Play videos and music and open photos from the server without downloading them first
• Access from PC: open the address in your computer's browser and enter the PIN shown on your phone to view, download and upload files. Wi-Fi or hotspot only; it turns off by itself when not in use
• Cloud folders of other installed apps through the Android file picker

ENCRYPTED SAFE FOLDER
Files in the safe folder are encrypted with a key kept in Android's secure hardware and only open after your fingerprint or PIN. The folder locks again after a few minutes and is hidden from recent apps. Its contents stay on this phone and are erased if you uninstall the app.
