1B Docs: Office & PDF Reader

1B Docs is an office suite for your phone, tablet or foldable: documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF and plain text in one app. No ads, no account, no subscription — and no Internet permission, so your documents never leave your device.

Works with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files: open, edit and save DOCX, XLSX and PPTX right on your device.

★ DOCUMENTS
• Open and edit DOCX; import ODT, RTF, HTML and legacy DOC
• Page view with real pagination, or a mobile view that reflows the text
• Fonts, sizes, colours, highlighting, alignment, lists, heading styles
• Tables, images, headers and footers, footnotes and links are displayed
• Find and replace, outline, word count, undo and redo

★ SPREADSHEETS
• Open and edit XLSX; import XLS, ODS, CSV and TSV
• Formula engine with more than 300 functions, in English or Spanish names
• Charts from the file: column, bar, line, area, pie, doughnut, scatter
• Number formats, cell styles, borders, merged cells, conditional formatting
• Several sheets, frozen panes, sort, filter, search

★ PRESENTATIONS
• Open and edit PPTX; import ODP and legacy PPT
• Edit text, move and resize objects, add, duplicate and reorder slides
• Full-screen presentation mode with timer, laser pointer and pen
• Speaker notes and slide sorter

★ PDF
• Fast viewer: continuous or page by page, zoom, thumbnails, contents, night mode
• Search and copy text
• Annotate: highlight, underline, strike out, draw, notes and text
• Sign with your own handwritten signature and fill in forms
• Merge, split, reorder, rotate and delete pages
• Compress, protect with a password, images to PDF, PDF to text or images

★ TEXT AND MARKDOWN
• Editor for TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, XML and code, with syntax highlighting
• Markdown preview, find and replace with regular expressions
• Detects the encoding and line endings and keeps them when saving

★ CREATE AND SHARE
• New blank document, spreadsheet, presentation or note, plus ready-made templates: letter, résumé, report, budget, invoice, task tracker and slide decks
• Export any document to PDF, print or share it
• Recent documents with thumbnails, favourites, search by name, folder browser
• Keep several documents open and switch between them

★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads, no in-app purchases, no account, no analytics
• The app does not request Internet access: nothing is uploaded anywhere
• "All files access" is optional. With it, 1B Docs lists the documents stored on your device. Without it, you open and save files with the system file picker and everything else works the same

★ MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN
• Phones, tablets and foldables, light and dark theme
• Available in 21 languages

AN HONEST NOTE
This is an early version (0.1). 1B Docs uses its own engine to read and write office files, so complex documents may not look exactly as they do in the program that created them, and some features (macros, pivot tables, advanced effects) are kept in the file but cannot be edited. Legacy and OpenDocument formats are imported; changes are saved as DOCX, XLSX or PPTX. We would love your feedback: 1bytesystems@gmail.com
