The app provides Android remote desktop access via Horizon Client but is hampered by widespread crashes, connectivity failures, and UI quirks across devices. While it works for some users (notably Chromebooks) and in certain configurations, frequent instability, server connection issues, problematic UI, unnecessary permissions, and lack of updates dominate user feedback, making reliable use challenging.

Pros

Provides remote desktop access to Windows/Linux desktops via Omnissa Horizon Client on Android.
Works for some users and can function as advertised, notably on Chromebooks.
When it works, it offers efficient desktop access through Horizon Client.

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability across many devices (e.g., Galaxy Z Fold, Pixel Fold, Tab S9, S24+, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro).
Cannot reliably connect to company servers on Android; SSL/cert errors and other connectivity failures.
UI/UX issues: non-full-screen mode, status bar blocking touch input, edge-to-edge problems, and keyboard behavior problems.
Unnecessary permissions (calling) and other maintenance issues; not updated for long periods; Chrome extension not optimized.
Frequent need to reinstall/clear cache and persistent reauthentication when backgrounded; VM/VDI session behavior is unreliable.
