Nazar — Evil Eye Charm

You attach a digital evil eye bead to your phone. That's all there is to it.

The bead quietly does its job: it leaves a note in its journal now and then ("Someone stared at your phone a little too long today. Nothing happened — thank the bead."), gets a little tired on full-moon nights, and keeps the evil eye off your phone for months. Or so we believe.

• The bead protects your phone — at least that's what we believe
• Read in its journal what it has deflected
• If your phone falls, the bead takes the first hit; on the second, it breaks instead of you ("Your phone fell. The screen made it — the bead didn't.")
• The bead wears out and cracks one day — a new one is always free
• Notifications are fully local; your phone tells you the moment the bead cracks

Nazar works without an account, without ads and without a server. It collects no data — your bead and its journal live only on your device. No internet needed.

Note: Nazar is an entertainment app; it makes no real claim of protection. But it doesn't feel bad either.
