• You'll get a notification when your fact-check is ready

🔍 EVERY CLAIM, NOT JUST THE HEADLINE
Social media posts mix facts, half-truths and opinions. FactSift splits the post into individual claims and checks each one:
• True, Mostly true, Misleading, False, Disputed or Unverifiable
• A short, plain-language explanation of what the evidence shows
• A 0–100 credibility score for the whole post
• Opinions and satire are recognised and never given a fake verdict

📚 SOURCES YOU CAN READ YOURSELF
FactSift searches independent news outlets, official sources and published fact-checks, in the post's own language and in English. A claim only gets a verdict when at least two independent sources support it, and every source is one tap away.

🌍 BUILT FOR WHERE MISINFORMATION SPREADS
Check social media posts in 10 languages: English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, Indonesian, Russian, German and Turkish. FactSift also takes local context into account, so a post about your country is checked against sources from your country.

🔒 PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No sign-up needed to start
• Screenshots are deleted after 30 days
• Delete your history or your account from the app at any time

💬 GOOD FOR CHECKING

• Political claims and election rumours
• Breaking news and "this just happened" posts
• Scam offers and too-good-to-be-true deals

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
FactSift uses AI to read social media posts and weigh evidence from public sources. Like any fact-checker it can be wrong, especially about events from the last few hours. Read the sources before relying on a verdict, and tap "Report this verdict" if you think one is wrong. FactSift doesn't give medical, legal or financial advice.

Check before you share. Download FactSift and see what's really true.
