What happened on the Seoul street where you are standing now? PastHere Seoul is a city history app that layers archival photos and sourced place stories over the streets you explore today.

Allow location access when you want to find the nearest story. You can still browse the home feed, search, map, themed collections, and saved stories without location access.

What you can do
- Discover stories around Independence Gate, Gyeongbokgung, Seoul Station, and many other places
- Search by era, district, or theme and explore places on a map
- Follow ordered history walks through Jeongdong, Jongno, and Seongsu
- Use Time Lens at selected places to compare an archival image with a photo you take today
- Check image credits, source links, dates, and license information
- Bookmark stories and save your own traces on your device
- Use the app in Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese

Personal photos and notes stay on your device. Location access is used to find nearby stories, and raw latitude or longitude is not stored in analytics events.
