OfColor is a black-owned financial wellness startup on a mission to improve the financial lives of employees of color. We do so by mixing financial technology with research (and simple common sense). The digital platform that we have built and continue to develop is available to all employees at our client companies—but is unapologetically centered around users of color, and is backed by research that shows race matters in employee financial communications.

We believe that the workplace is one of the frontlines in the battle to close the $154,000 racial wealth gap between black and white families in the United States. This gap hurts individual families of color, our businesses, and the economy as a whole, and we know that reduc ing it with urgency will create a ripple effect that benefits us all.
