Bayou Cane Fire Protection LA

The BCFD app allows local residents and visitors to access important information and services we provide. It is the mission of the Bayou Cane Fire Protection District to preserve life and property and promote public safety as an all-hazard emergency response provider. We will accomplish our mission through fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue, code enforcement, public education, fire investigation, and professional development training. It is our number one priority to provide the most comprehensive services to all the residents, businesses, and visitors of our district.

We will be a dynamic industry leader as a premier fire department, providing the highest level of service with our members working together, as a cohesive group, for the betterment of the organization and our entire community.

BCFD has four fire stations, located along the most frequented areas of Houma, Louisiana. The department responds to approximately 3,500 calls of service per year in the areas of fire suppression; fire prevention inspection, and investigation; ems; hazardous materials response; and rescue/extrication.
