Obsidian Wave

Obsidian Wave teaches you how to learn, not just what to learn. Focus, active recall, spaced review, interleaving, metacognition — the key techniques of effective studying are all in one place, working fully offline with local data storage.
Lessons holds 10 guided sessions grouped by category: Start, Memory, and Practice. They include Build a focus map for setting a 25-minute single-outcome target, Active recall for one daily self-test card, Spaced review for building a three-date review queue, and Interleave practice for working through a mixed set of six questions. Each lesson is marked complete after finishing.
Practice Lab features 10 scenario questions with multiple-choice answers that test understanding of learning principles in real situations — for example, what to do when you've reread a chapter three times but still can't explain it. Each attempt is saved locally.
The Knowledge Base holds 12 terms with definitions and examples: active recall, spacing effect, interleaving, transfer, schema, metacognition, and more. Terms can be bookmarked for quick reference.
The Study Notebook captures examples, questions, and hard concepts linked to a specific lesson. Notes are stored offline for review at any time.
Progress tracks lesson mastery, best practice score, saved glossary terms, notebook entries, and study streak.
