‘Info for you’ is an app for relatives that has been developed as part of the research project HERMES II: “Improving information for relatives through adaptation and implementation of the HERMES intervention in the Danish healthcare system”.

The purpose of the project is to investigate whether the app ‘Info for you’ can help ensure that the relatives get the information they need. In addition, it is being investigated whether communication with doctors and nurses can be improved when the app is used.

In the app, there are 14 questions that ask if you are missing information on various topics that you as a relative may need more information on (eg treatment, waiting time, side effects, support and rights). The app is meant to help you as a relative become more aware of what you are missing information about. This way you can prepare which questions you need to get answers from the healthcare staff. Once you have answered the 14 questions, you can show your answer and / or ask your specific questions to the doctor or nurse on the oncology ward (cancer ward).
