Kantin Pesantren is a cashier (Point of Sale) application specifically designed for canteens, cooperatives, and supermarkets within Islamic boarding schools.

The entire application runs 100% offline. There are no servers, no internet connection required, and no subscription fees. All data is securely stored on your device.

This application can be used by any Islamic boarding school. When you first open it, simply enter the name and logo of your Islamic boarding school using a short wizard—no special orders or external settings required.

▍FAST TRANSACTIONS AT THE CASHIER
• Select products from the list, or scan the barcode with the camera
• The product list is automatically sorted by best-selling
• Change the quantity directly in the cart with the + and - buttons
• Pay in cash with the quick nominal button and automatically calculate change
• Pay using your student's balance by scanning your QR card
• Print receipts in PDF format, which can be reprinted at any time

▍STUDENT BALANCE & QR CARDS
• Manage each student's balance, complete with top-up and purchase history
• Print QR-coded student cards in standard ID card size (CR80), individually or in bulk
• The QR code is encrypted using your Islamic boarding school's own secret key — cards from other Islamic boarding schools are automatically rejected
• The balance can never be negative; Transactions are canceled if the balance is insufficient.

▍PRODUCTS & STOCK
• Complete product data: name, price, stock, photo, and barcode
• Stock is automatically reduced every time a sale is made
• The Add Stock menu records the history of incoming and outgoing items
• Low-stock product alerts directly on the Dashboard

▍REPORTS
• The Dashboard displays today's sales, number of transactions, number of students, and number of products
• Daily and monthly sales reports with total turnover
• Complete transaction history with item details and date filters

▍SAFE & CONTROLLED
• Database backup to a single file, which can be saved or shared via the Android Share feature
• Restore the database from a backup file, with file checks to ensure data is not corrupted
• Admin passwords are stored as hashes, not plain text
• Prices stored in old transactions do not change when product prices are updated

▍SUITABLE FOR PHONE AND TABLET SCREENS
The layout adapts to screen size. On tablets, the cart appears side by side with the product list, making transactions faster. Both portrait and landscape modes are supported.

▍NO ADS, NO TRACKING
The app does not display ads, does not use third-party analytics, and does not send any data outside the device.

▍IMPORTANT NOTE
The student balance in this app is the internal balance of the Islamic boarding school canteen, not electronic money or a payment instrument regulated by the Financial Services Authority. The app does not process real payments and is not connected to banks, digital wallets, or QRIS.

Because all data is stored on the device, back up regularly. Data lost due to device damage or app deletion cannot be recovered without a backup file.
