Harm Reduction Sisters

Harm Reduction Sisters (HRS) is a non-profit organization focused on providing harm reduction services and support to people who use drugs (see https://harmreductionsisters.org/). HRS participants can use this secure mobile app to anonymously contact Harm Reduction Sisters at any time (24/7/365).

Through ongoing community outreach HRS provides supplies such as naloxone (aka Narcan, to reverse opioid overdoses), safer use kits for both injection and smoking, HIV and STI testing, drug checking services (FTS and FTIR), telehealth access to buprenorphine, and educational resources aimed at reducing the negative health and social consequences associated with drug use. These services are available in downtown Duluth, MN at the Damiano Center but also through our mobile outreach unit.

With this mobile app you can find out where HRS services are available in real-time, you can request for those service to meet you where you’re at, or you can send private chat messages to staff at HRS for mutual aid and ongoing support. In addition, app users can sign up for notification alerts for when the HRS mobile services are in your region, financial incentives that are available at HRS, and spikes in overdoses or identification of harmful trends in the drug supply. Finally, we are continually updating the video library on the app to provide participants with information about how to administer naloxone, conduct drug checking, and medications that help to manage substance use.
