Vita Care: Pill Reminders

Vita Care reminds you to take your pills on time, with alerts you can see even when the phone is locked.

It's built for older people and for whoever helps them: large text, large buttons, and not one screen more than needed.

WHAT IT DOES

• Reminders that arrive on time. Exact alarms and full-screen alerts. If you restart the phone, they reschedule themselves.
• Mark a dose with one button. You see at a glance what you've taken today and what's left.
• Schedules by moments of the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime. You set them once.
• Medication that isn't daily: alternate days, once a week, every few days.
• Medical appointments, with a reminder the day before.
• A warning when medication is running low, so you don't get caught without it.
• A PDF report to take to the doctor, with what was marked over the last month.
• Caregiver mode: also manage the medication of your mother, your father or whoever you care for, from your own phone.
• Read the label with the camera: the app picks the name and strength off the box, on your own phone and without internet.
• Large text, stronger colours and spoken reminders that say the name and the time.

WORKS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT AND WITHOUT INTERNET

Reminders, schedules, appointments, caregiver mode and PDF reports all work without signing up and without a connection. If you never sign in, we don't hold a single piece of your data.

REMOTE CARE, IF YOU WANT IT

You can let your daughter, your son or whoever you choose see from their phone whether you've taken your medication.

Both people have to agree: one enters a code and the other confirms it on their own phone. Nobody can follow you without your say-so. You can cut it off whenever you like, without telling anyone, and doses are deleted from the server after 7 days.

At most 4 people can follow you. It isn't a paywall: each extra person is one more copy of your history on one more phone.

BACKUP IN YOUR OWN DRIVE

If you ask for it, Vita Care keeps a copy in a private folder of your own Google Drive account. We can't see it, not now and not ever.

NO ADS, NO PROFILING

There are no ads, no analytics, and we don't sell data.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Vita Care is a support tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for advice from a health professional. It does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not check for interactions between medicines.

Reminders depend on your phone and an alert may not arrive: do not rely on Vita Care as the only safeguard for critical medication.

A dose left unmarked in the app does not mean the medication wasn't taken, and the same goes for what a remote carer sees. It is not a medical alarm.
