Your privacy matters. ScanMate stores your information on your device by default. Generated images always remain on your device and are never uploaded.
Cloud history backup is optional. If you choose to create an account, only your scan history and generated-code records are synchronized with Firebase Firestore. Images, application settings and categories remain on your device.
When approximate location saving is enabled, ScanMate stores only the city, state and country. Precise GPS coordinates are immediately discarded.
No account is required to scan, generate or manage codes. Simply open ScanMate and start scanning.
