Gwittim — Check messages without opening the app. No ads.

Have you ever felt hesitant to check message content beforehand because the 'Read Receipt (1)' disappears immediately upon opening a KakaoTalk message? Or have you ever missed the content because the other person deleted the message right after sending it? Gwittim is a notification preview app that preserves incoming notifications on a separate screen, allowing you to safely view message content and attached photos without opening the original messenger app. It also keeps the received notification intact even if the other person deletes the message later. Since the developer created it because they dislike ads themselves, not a single ad is displayed.

• 0 Ads, 0 Trackers — No ads appear anywhere on the screen. It does not use usage tracking or analytics SDKs.

• Custom Filters — Worried about your personal KakaoTalk messages getting mixed up with your guest messages? We created this for those who communicate with guests via KakaoTalk, such as Pilates instructors, private tutors, and salon/store owners. By creating a 'Guest' filter and moving chat rooms to it, you can view only guest messages separately while keeping your personal messages neatly separated. You can create as many filters as you want and freely change their order.

• View missing messages exactly as they are — Even if the sender deletes, recalls, or edits a message on KakaoTalk, the original remains intact in Gwitkim. You can view them all at a glance on a separate 'Missing Messages' screen.

• Preview content without read marks — Messenger notifications from KakaoTalk, LINE, Telegram, Instagram, etc. are preserved separately. You can immediately check who sent what message without having to open the original app directly.

• Automatic Instagram notification classification — We display DMs, Comments, Stories, and Others separately. You will never miss a DM buried under new Story notifications.

• Automatic organization by sender and chat room — Neatly grouped by sender. KakaoTalk is automatically classified into Friend Talk, Open Talk, and Others.

• Notification Listener — Required to receive notifications that have arrived in the system. Please enable this in System Settings by following the instructions on the screen upon first launch.

• Show notifications (Android 13+) — Required to display guidance notifications sent directly by Gwittim

• Exclude battery optimization (Recommended) — Recommended to receive notifications seamlessly in the background

• Show over other apps (Optional) — Required only when using floating previews

Gwittim does not require separate registration or login. It does not use advertisements, trackers, or analytics SDKs. By default, notification content is stored only on the device. Only with a Pro subscription is it transmitted and stored via secure channels using OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini) or Supabase for AI analysis, and it is automatically deleted upon cancellation of Pro.
