If you allow it, WandType reads the names in your contact list for one reason: so friends and family names are spelled correctly instead of being autocorrected into other words. Names stay on the phone and are never sent anywhere.

ABOUT YOUR TEXT
Being straight about this, because it matters on a keyboard.
