Nodefront: One-Screen RTS

Nodefront is a compact real-time strategy game built around a single screen. No scrolling minimaps, no dozens of hotkeys — just you, a grid of nodes, and a decision every few seconds.

HOW IT PLAYS
You own a handful of nodes that generate energy. Drag a line from one of your nodes to another node to send energy: reinforce your own, capture a neutral, or overwhelm an enemy. Lines overheat if you push them too hard. Tap your node to cut a line you no longer need. Matches are short, punchy and demand attention from the first second.

THREE NODE TYPES, DIFFERENT ROLES
• Basic — balanced generation and defense, the backbone of any push.
• Generator — high output, fragile; place it deep in your territory.
• Shield — minimal output, maximum defense; plug it into contested chokepoints.

160-MISSION CAMPAIGN
Eight locations, twenty missions each. Every location has its own twist that changes how you play:
• Wastelands — the pure baseline.
• Overgrown Ruins — nodes slowly self-repair.
• Ice Fields — transmission lines cool down slower.
• Power Grid — abilities are amplified when you hold the grid.
• Volcanic Zone — random AoE eruptions every few seconds.
• The Void — lines occasionally bounce to random targets.
• Industrial Plant — periodic pulses flow across every active line.
• Rift Portals — half of the energy you send is mirrored to a twin node.

GRID MIND — A 7-BRANCH MASTERY TREE
Earn Sparks, unlock around 80 nodes across seven branches (Flow, Core, Strike, Ward, Hand, Mind, Automation). Tier-2 perks unlock with location stars; Tier-3 perks with your total mastery; seven Keystones reshape how a whole branch behaves. Respec any time for 50 Gears.

THREE ABILITIES, REAL TIMING
Overload, Cut Link, and Pulse — each with its own cooldown and its own moment. Activating the right one at the right time turns a losing match around.

DAILY CHALLENGE
One fresh puzzle every day, the same seed for everyone. One attempt, one chance to top the leaderboard of your own consistency.
